BAGHDAD ? Officials say two Iraqi government employees have been killed and three boys wounded in the latest in a wave of bomb attacks to hit the country.
Police and hospital officials say the agriculture ministry workers were killed Tuesday in Shurqat, 155 miles (250 kilometers) northwest of Baghdad.
Also, police say a roadside bomb wounded three boys, two of them seriously, as they were on their way to school in Salahuddin province north of Baghdad.
The officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak to reporters.
Bomb attacks have killed more than 90 people in Iraq in less than a week. Many have targeted Shiite Muslims, raising fears of a serious outbreak of sectarian violence following the withdrawal of U.S. troops last month.
