Wiling Away The Time Once The Waiting Period Is Way Too Much ...

Waiting is the most stressing verb in the dictionary. So I usually take a book with me when I know I have to wait for some time. But then, I start to forget what I was reading. I was transported somewhere else.

I once fantasized winning the lottery. I want to buy these items if I win a million dollars. A house is my top priority. It doesn?t necessarily be huge, just enough for me and my family in the future. It should cost me around 150k, so that leaves me $850k more. Then I want at least a brand new car. What I own now is a truck that needs to be constantly checked on a monthly basis in the shop. Luxury cars dont entice me as I don?t want my car to be car-napped. A Ford Truck is good enough, I think. Then there?s my family. My mother wants the whole house tiled. My dad will ask for a bike. My younger brother wants a new electric guitar. Right after when I was just about to sum everything up, the assistant of the clinic called me and said the dentist is now going to entertain my need. Ugh! I forgot, I was sitting in one of the waiting room chairs, wiling away the time, trying to think of things other than tooth extraction.

Then in another time, the thought of Patsy and Tatyana came to me. They are both stunningly good looking, Patsy is a blond with blue eyes and Tatyana is a Latina Hottie. They love to flirt with me whenever they are free. Tatyana likes to show off her curves while Patsy shows off her legs. At the climax of this daydream of mine, somebody was calling my name: it was the receptionist, asking me if I?m still in for the sperm donation. Oh, so that?s where I was?in the sitting room, lounging on the waiting room chairs, waiting for my time to get off. That daydream of mine was really great, it made me feel like I didn?t wait at all.

I remember last friday I was glancing at different colors around me. There were colors everywhere, which reminded me of my childhood. The balloons, toys, candies, clothes. I remember learning how to ride the bike. I remember asking Santa for an all-terrain vehicle and I got a remote control Humvee instead. I remember swimming in the beach with people in colorful swimwear. {Then a burly man yelled, ?Man, your turn!?Again, at the most climatic part of my daydream, somebody called my name and said that I?m next.} I just realized where I was exactly. I was in the tattoo parlor, hence, the colors. ?Oh, mister, I?m sorry.I think I?m in the wrong store.? I hurriedly ran from my waiting chair. My mother would do me more harm than the needles of the tatoo if I got one. Thank goodness for waiting periods.
